Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Distribution Assistant to join our dynamic team in Ajman. As a key member of our distribution department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of our products to customers and retailers. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about logistics and distribution in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Order Processing: Assist in processing customer orders, ensuring accuracy in order entries, product availability, and timely dispatch.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking incoming and outgoing shipments, conducting regular stock counts, and reporting discrepancies.
- Shipping Coordination: Collaborate with logistics providers to schedule shipments, ensuring compliance with delivery timelines and cost-efficiency.
- Documentation: Prepare and verify shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork as required.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and any issues that may arise, providing exceptional customer service.
- Warehouse Support: Assist with the organization and maintenance of the warehouse, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Reporting: Generate reports on distribution metrics, including shipping efficiency, delivery times, and inventory levels for management review.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies throughout the distribution process.

Requirements:

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a distribution, logistics, or warehouse role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and shipping software.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods.
