Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Distribution Assistant to join our dynamic team in Ajman, specializing in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient distribution of pharmaceutical products, maintaining compliance with industry regulations, and supporting the overall logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Order Processing: Assist in the processing and management of customer orders, ensuring accurate entry into the inventory management system and timely fulfillment.

- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control, including conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies to management.

- Shipping Coordination: Collaborate with logistics and shipping departments to prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all distribution activities comply with local and international pharmaceutical regulations and company policies, including handling of controlled substances.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory transactions, ensuring all documentation is in line with regulatory requirements.

- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to order status and shipment tracking in a timely and professional manner.

- Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff, sales teams, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.

- Safety and Quality Assurance: Adhere to all safety protocols and quality assurance standards during the handling and distribution of pharmaceutical products.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, pharmacy, or a related field is preferred.

- Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a distribution, logistics, or warehouse role, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.

- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance standards.

- Languages: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Working Conditions:

- This position is based in Ajman, and may require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of heavy items.
- Regular working hours, with occasional overtime as needed to meet distribution deadlines.
