Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Designer to join our dynamic team in the education sector based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design, with a passion for creating innovative and sustainable solutions for educational facilities. The Electrical Designer will be responsible for the design and development of electrical systems, ensuring they meet both client specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop detailed electrical designs for educational facilities, including power distribution, lighting, and emergency systems.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical designs with overall project objectives.
- Conduct load calculations and prepare technical specifications for electrical systems.
- Create and review electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams using CAD software.
- Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing electrical systems and gather data for design projects.
- Participate in project meetings, providing technical input and addressing any electrical-related concerns.
- Prepare feasibility studies and cost estimates for proposed electrical systems.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical design.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior team members, fostering an environment of learning and development.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in electrical design, preferably within the education sector.
- Proficient in using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) for electrical design.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, NEC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices and energy-efficient systems is an advantage.
