We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Fire Protection Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Information Technology and a passion for ensuring the safety and security of buildings and their occupants.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement fire protection systems for IT facilities, including data centers and server rooms
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate fire hazards
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure compliance with local fire codes and regulations
- Perform inspections and audits of fire protection systems to ensure they are functioning properly
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on fire protection best practices
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in fire protection technology
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- [X] years of experience working as a Fire Protection Engineer
- Strong knowledge of fire protection codes and standards, particularly in Dubai
- Experience designing fire protection systems for IT facilities is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
