Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Geologist to join our dynamic team in the healthcare sector in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing geological factors that influence healthcare planning, environmental health, and public safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply geological expertise in a way that impacts community health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct geological surveys and analyses to assess the physical properties of various geological formations relevant to healthcare operations and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and environmental scientists to evaluate the potential impact of geological hazards on healthcare facilities and public health.
- Analyze soil, rock, and groundwater samples to assess contamination and provide recommendations for remediation when necessary.
- Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other geological software to create detailed maps and models that support healthcare planning and risk assessment.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations that communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including healthcare administrators, government agencies, and community organizations.
- Stay updated on the latest research and developments in geology and environmental health to ensure the application of best practices in the field.
- Assist in the development of strategies to mitigate geological risks associated with healthcare facilities, including site selection and environmental assessments.
- Participate in interdisciplinary teams to support healthcare initiatives that require geological expertise.
- Engage with local communities to educate them about geological factors affecting their health and safety, fostering a collaborative approach to environmental health.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in geology, with a focus on environmental health or healthcare-related projects.
- Strong knowledge of geological mapping, soil and water testing, and environmental impact assessments.
- Proficiency in GIS and geological modeling software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex geological data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with local and international environmental regulations and standards related to healthcare.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
