We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Import Specialist Assistant to join our team in Dubai. As an Import Specialist Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Import Specialist in managing the importation process of raw materials and components for our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of imported goods.
- Prepare and process import documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, shipping documents, and customs declarations.
- Monitor shipments to ensure compliance with import regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of imported goods, including quantities, costs, and delivery schedules.
- Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the importation process.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to provide updates on the status of import shipments.
- Support the Import Specialist in conducting market research and evaluating potential new suppliers.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- [Number] years of experience in import/export operations within the manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of import regulations and customs procedures in the UAE.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
