Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Industrial Hygienist to join our team in Dubai, focusing on the telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and controlling workplace hazards to ensure the health and safety of our employees and compliance with local and international regulations. This role requires a proactive approach to managing occupational health risks and a strong understanding of telecommunications operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive workplace assessments to identify potential health hazards related to telecommunications operations, including exposure to electromagnetic fields, chemicals, noise, and ergonomic risks.
- Develop and implement sampling strategies and protocols for monitoring exposure to hazardous materials and conditions.
- Analyze data from workplace assessments and exposure monitoring to determine compliance with relevant occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with management and safety teams to design and implement effective control measures and safety programs to mitigate identified risks.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on findings, recommendations, and compliance status for management and regulatory authorities.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safe work practices, personal protective equipment (PPE), and the importance of industrial hygiene in telecommunications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, research, and developments in industrial hygiene and occupational health standards, particularly those relevant to the telecommunications sector.
- Assist in incident investigations and root cause analyses related to health and safety incidents, and recommend corrective actions.
- Foster a culture of safety and health within the organization by promoting awareness and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in industrial hygiene or a related field, preferably within the telecommunications or technology sector.
- Strong knowledge of local and international occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in using industrial hygiene monitoring equipment and software for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Certification from a recognized professional body (e.g., CIH, ROH) is preferred but not mandatory.

Work Environment:

- The position may require occasional travel to various work sites across Dubai and the UAE.
- The Industrial Hygienist will work in both office settings and field environments, which may involve exposure to various workplace conditions.
