Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and innovative Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team in Dubai, specializing in the retail sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing aesthetically pleasing and functional outdoor spaces that enhance the retail experience. This role will involve collaborating with architects, engineers, and clients to create landscapes that not only meet environmental and regulatory standards but also reflect the brand identity of the retail establishments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design Development: Create detailed landscape designs, including planting plans, hardscape layouts, and irrigation designs, tailored to retail environments.
- Project Management: Oversee landscape projects from concept through construction, ensuring that designs are executed according to specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, urban planners, and engineers to integrate landscape designs seamlessly with overall project plans.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their vision and requirements, presenting design concepts that align with their brand and objectives.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct site analysis and research to inform design decisions, considering factors such as climate, soil conditions, and existing vegetation.
- Sustainability Practices: Incorporate sustainable design practices, including the use of native plants, efficient irrigation systems, and eco-friendly materials.
- Site Supervision: Monitor landscaping installation processes on-site to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, zoning laws, and environmental guidelines.
- Presentation: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and reports to stakeholders, showcasing design proposals and project progress.
- Post-Project Evaluation: Conduct post-project evaluations to assess the effectiveness of landscape designs and gather feedback for future improvements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in landscape architecture, preferably within the retail sector.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of horticulture, landscape ecology, and sustainable design principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proven project management skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with local regulations and standards related to landscaping and urban design in Dubai.
- A portfolio showcasing previous landscape design projects, particularly in retail or commercial environments.
