Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team in Dubai, focusing on healthcare projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of landscape design principles, plant selection, and sustainable practices, with a proven track record of successfully completing projects that enhance the healing environment of healthcare facilities. This role requires collaboration with architects, engineers, and healthcare professionals to create functional, aesthetic, and therapeutic outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design Development: Create innovative landscape designs tailored for healthcare environments, incorporating elements that promote healing, relaxation, and well-being for patients, visitors, and staff.

- Site Analysis: Conduct thorough site assessments to evaluate existing conditions, environmental impact, and functionality of the landscape in relation to healthcare operations.

- Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams—including architects, urban planners, and healthcare professionals—to integrate landscape architecture seamlessly into overall project designs.

- Sustainable Practices: Advocate for and implement sustainable landscape practices that enhance biodiversity, conserve resources, and contribute to LEED certification or other sustainability standards.

- Plant Selection: Select appropriate plant species that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also resilient and suitable for the local climate, while considering maintenance needs and safety in healthcare settings.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all designs comply with local regulations, zoning laws, and healthcare standards, including accessibility and safety requirements.

- Project Management: Oversee the landscape architecture aspects of healthcare projects from conceptual design through to implementation, ensuring quality control and adherence to timelines and budgets.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with clients, community members, and stakeholders to gather input and feedback throughout the design process, fostering collaboration and support for projects.

- Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports to communicate design intent and project progress, as well as participate in presentations to clients and stakeholders.

- Research & Innovation: Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in landscape architecture and healthcare environments, applying this knowledge to improve design practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape architecture, with a focus on healthcare projects.
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of horticulture, ecology, and sustainable landscape practices.
- Experience working within the UAE or Gulf region is preferred, with knowledge of local flora and environmental conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
- Strong project management skills with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
