Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Musician to join our educational institution in Ajman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a love for music among students of various ages and skill levels, enhancing their musical abilities, and contributing to a vibrant musical community within our school. The Musician will play a vital role in teaching, performing, and organizing musical activities that enrich the educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Instruction: Teach music theory, instrument performance, vocal techniques, and composition to students across different age groups.
- Curriculum Development: Collaborate with faculty to develop and implement engaging music curriculum that aligns with educational standards and fosters creativity.
- Performance: Organize and lead musical performances, including concerts, recitals, and school events. Prepare students for performances and ensure they have a positive experience.
- Assessment: Evaluate student progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their musical skills.
- Mentorship: Offer individual and group lessons, mentoring students in their musical journey and encouraging their growth and development.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other educators in cross-disciplinary projects that integrate music with other subjects.
- Community Engagement: Engage with the local community by organizing workshops, music camps, and outreach programs to promote music education.
- Instrument Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of musical instruments and ensure they are in good working condition for student use.
- Administrative Duties: Assist in the administration of music programs, including budget management, scheduling of classes, and coordination of events.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Performance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in music education or as a performing musician.
- Proficiency in at least one musical instrument and vocal performance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage students and create a positive learning environment.
- Experience in music composition and arrangement is a plus.
- Knowledge of various musical genres and teaching methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

- Ability to play multiple instruments.
- Experience in conducting and directing musical groups.
- Familiarity with music software and technology.

Working Conditions:

- Full-time position based in Ajman with occasional evening and weekend commitments for performances and events.
- Collaborative work environment with a focus on continuous improvement and professional development.
