Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team in Sharjah, specializing in the energy sector. The ideal candidate will support our nursing staff in providing high-quality patient care, assisting in the management of health services, and contributing to a safe and efficient healthcare environment. This role is crucial for maintaining the well-being and comfort of our patients while adhering to industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist nurses in delivering direct patient care, including bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support to patients.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Help with the preparation and maintenance of medical equipment and supplies, ensuring all tools are sanitized and ready for patient use.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient rooms and common areas, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR) and maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
- Support patients in understanding their treatment plans and medications, providing emotional and psychological support as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care strategies.
- Assist in training new staff and students, promoting a culture of learning and teamwork.
- Engage with patients and their families, providing education and answers to basic health inquiries, ensuring a supportive environment.
- Participate in health and wellness initiatives within the energy sector, promoting overall health and safety practices among employees.

Qualifications:
- Completed a Nursing Assistant program or a similar certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital or clinic environment.
- Familiarity with basic medical terminology and healthcare procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems and basic computer applications.
- Knowledge of safety and infection control practices is essential.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a specialized healthcare setting related to the energy sector is a plus.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
- Ability to speak Arabic is an advantage, but not required.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move patients as necessary, which may include standing for long periods, bending, and assisting with mobility.
- Must be able to handle stressful situations with professionalism and composure.
