Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our dynamic team in the Information Technology sector based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and maintaining accurate payroll records. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our employees by delivering timely and accurate payroll services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accurate calculations of wages, deductions, bonuses, and overtime.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, tax filings, and benefits enrollment.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations related to payroll and employee compensation.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management, including summaries of payroll expenses and any discrepancies.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure that all employee data is accurate and up-to-date in the payroll system.
- Assist in the preparation of annual payroll budgets and forecasts.
- Support audits and provide necessary documentation as required by internal and external auditors.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation, compliance, and industry best practices to ensure continued compliance.
- Participate in the implementation of payroll software and systems enhancements as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably within the Information Technology sector.
- Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations related to payroll.
- Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Excel; experience with [specific payroll software] is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
