Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in the agriculture sector. Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supplier performance.

2. Supplier Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Conduct regular supplier performance assessments and negotiate contracts and terms to secure favorable agreements.

3. Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting professional development.
- Oversee daily procurement operations, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

4. Budget Management:
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to develop and manage the procurement budget.
- Analyze spending patterns and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.

5. Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and new products.
- Utilize data analysis to forecast procurement needs and optimize inventory levels.

6. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with local and international procurement regulations and company policies.
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.

7. Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment of procurement activities with operational needs.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the agriculture sector.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of market trends and best practices in agricultural procurement.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
