Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our dynamic team in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector based in Al Ain. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the production process and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This position is suited for individuals who are passionate about the pharmaceutical industry and are eager to contribute to the production of life-saving medications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the setup, operation, and monitoring of production equipment and machinery to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes.
- Support the production team in the preparation and packaging of pharmaceutical products in accordance with established protocols and quality standards.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance of production equipment to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety guidelines.
- Document production activities, including batch records, equipment logs, and quality control checks, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of raw materials and supplies, and reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge related to pharmaceutical production processes and safety practices.
- Support the quality assurance team by conducting preliminary inspections of products and reporting any deviations from specifications.
- Assist with the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing production efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Familiarity with GMP and regulatory compliance in the pharmaceutical sector is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in the use of standard office software and production-related tools.
