Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Information Security Analyst to join our dynamic team in Sharjah, specializing in the consumer goods sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in information security practices, risk management, and compliance frameworks, along with a proven track record of implementing security measures to protect sensitive data and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Security Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive information security strategies and policies that align with organizational goals and industry standards.

- Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities, threats, and potential impacts on information systems. Develop mitigation strategies to minimize risks and enhance security posture.

- Incident Response: Lead the incident response process, including detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery from security incidents. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security breaches and improve incident response protocols.

- Monitoring and Analysis: Utilize security information and event management (SIEM) tools to monitor network traffic and systems for anomalies. Analyze security logs and events to identify potential threats and respond accordingly.

- Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies (such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and local regulations) through regular audits and assessments. Maintain documentation and reporting to demonstrate compliance.

- Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver information security training programs for employees to promote a culture of security awareness and best practices across the organization.

- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, management, and other stakeholders to integrate security practices into the system development lifecycle and ensure security considerations are included in business processes.

- Vendor Management: Assess third-party vendors' security posture and ensure they comply with organizational security policies. Collaborate with procurement to evaluate security solutions and tools.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the organization's overall security framework.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on risk management, incident response, and security compliance.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CEH are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO, etc.) and familiarity with regulatory requirements applicable to the consumer goods industry.
- Proficient in security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus solutions, and SIEM platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.
