Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Senior Legal Officer to join our dynamic legal team in the Aerospace and Defense sector based in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support to senior management on a wide range of legal issues related to the aerospace and defense industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including procurement contracts, licensing agreements, and joint ventures.
- Advising on regulatory compliance issues, export control laws, and government contracts.
- Handling disputes and litigation matters, including managing external counsel and representing the company in court proceedings.
- Conducting legal research and analysis on complex legal issues affecting the aerospace and defense industry.
- Providing legal support on corporate governance matters, including company secretarial duties.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable university; Master's degree is a plus.
- Admission to practice law in Dubai; additional admission in other jurisdictions is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of legal experience in the aerospace and defense industry or related sectors.
- Strong knowledge of international and regional laws governing the aerospace and defense sector.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
