Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of transportation logistics for our construction projects in the region. This includes overseeing the scheduling of transportation vehicles, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and optimizing transportation routes to maximize efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the transportation of materials, equipment, and personnel to and from construction sites
- Develop and maintain relationships with transportation vendors and negotiate contracts
- Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings
- Ensure compliance with local transportation regulations and safety standards
- Track and report on transportation metrics, such as on-time delivery and fleet utilization
- Collaborate with project managers to plan transportation logistics for upcoming projects
- Resolve transportation issues and address any delays or disruptions in service
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and expenses

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in transportation coordination, preferably in the construction industry
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in transportation management software
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
