Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Wedding Coordinator Assistant to join our team in Dubai's vibrant financial services sector. This position requires a passion for event planning, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The Wedding Coordinator Assistant will support the lead Wedding Coordinator in planning, organizing, and executing a variety of weddings and related events, ensuring that each wedding is a seamless and memorable experience for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Wedding Coordinator in the planning and execution of weddings and related events, from initial consultation to the day of the event.
- Coordinate with vendors, including florists, caterers, photographers, and entertainment, ensuring all aspects of the event are aligned with client expectations.
- Maintain detailed project timelines and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget, providing timely updates and addressing any concerns.
- Conduct site visits to potential wedding venues, and assist in selecting décor and layout options that align with client desires.
- Help manage the logistics of wedding day activities, including setup, coordination of the ceremony and reception, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials and social media content to promote wedding services to potential clients.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to build relationships with vendors and stay updated on market trends.
- Provide administrative support, including maintaining client files, handling correspondence, and tracking budgets and expenses.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to event planning and execution.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning, wedding coordination, or hospitality management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event planning software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
- Knowledge of Dubai's wedding industry, including local vendors and venues, is a plus.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure.
