Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agricultural Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai's manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing agricultural operations, ensuring optimal production, and implementing innovative practices to enhance efficiency and sustainability within our agricultural manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:
- Oversee daily agricultural operations, including planting, harvesting, and post-harvest processes.
- Develop and implement production plans to meet the demands of the manufacturing facility.
- Monitor crop health and implement pest and disease management strategies.

2. Team Leadership:
- Supervise and train agricultural staff, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, encouraging team development and innovation.

3. Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term agricultural strategies aligned with business goals.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for product development and improvement.

4. Sustainability Initiatives:
- Implement sustainable agricultural practices to minimize environmental impact and enhance resource efficiency.
- Monitor compliance with local and international agricultural regulations and standards.

5. Budget Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for agricultural operations, ensuring cost-effective practices and resource allocation.
- Analyze financial performance and report on key metrics to senior management.

6. Supply Chain Coordination:
- Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure timely procurement of seeds, fertilizers, and other agricultural inputs.
- Coordinate with logistics to ensure the efficient transportation of raw materials and finished products.

7. Research and Development:
- Stay abreast of the latest agricultural technologies and practices, integrating them into operations where beneficial.
- Collaborate with research institutions and industry partners to pursue innovative agricultural solutions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in agricultural management, preferably within a manufacturing context.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, crop management, and pest control.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and agricultural regulations in the UAE is a plus.
- Proficiency in agricultural software and technology is preferred.
