Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Agricultural Manager to oversee our agricultural operations in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for sustainable farming practices. The Agricultural Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all agricultural activities to ensure the highest levels of productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement agricultural strategies that align with the company's goals, focusing on productivity, sustainability, and innovation.
- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of farming activities, including crop production, livestock management, and resource allocation.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of agricultural staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Financial Management: Prepare budgets, monitor expenditures, and analyze financial performance to ensure cost-effective operations while maximizing profitability.
- Research & Development: Stay updated on agricultural trends, technologies, and best practices. Conduct research to improve crop yield, pest management, and soil health.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all agricultural practices comply with local regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with suppliers and distribution partners to ensure timely procurement of materials and delivery of products.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market conditions and consumer trends to make informed decisions about crop selection and marketing strategies.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Implement eco-friendly farming practices and sustainable resource management strategies to minimize environmental impact.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years and maximum of 8 years of experience in agricultural management or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing agricultural operations, including crop production and livestock management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of agricultural regulations and compliance requirements in the UAE.
- Familiarity with modern agricultural technologies and sustainable farming practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
