Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Allergy Technician to join our dynamic team in the Telecommunications sector. This role is essential in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and clients by providing thorough allergy assessments and managing allergy-related issues within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in health sciences, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct allergy assessments and screenings for employees and clients, utilizing appropriate methodologies and tools to identify potential allergens.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of allergy-related information, including individual client profiles, assessment results, and follow-up care requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including allergists and occupational health specialists, to develop tailored allergy management plans.
- Provide education and training sessions for employees on allergy awareness, prevention strategies, and emergency response procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of allergy management plans and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Respond to inquiries and concerns related to allergies in the workplace, ensuring that all information is communicated clearly and compassionately.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in allergy management, particularly within the context of the telecommunications industry.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to allergy management and workplace safety.
- Participate in health and safety audits and inspections, contributing to a safe working environment for all employees.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field, such as Biomedical Science, Nursing, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare or clinical setting, with a focus on allergy management or related fields.
- Certification in allergy and immunology is a plus.
- Strong understanding of allergen identification and management, particularly in relation to environmental factors in the telecommunications industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and individuals.
- Proficient in using computer software for data management and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
