Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Benefits Coordinator to join our dynamic Human Resources team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing employee benefits programs within the Aerospace and Defense sector. This role requires a strong understanding of benefits administration, compliance, and a commitment to enhancing employee satisfaction through effective benefits management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Benefits Administration: Manage and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, life insurance, and other employee perks. Ensure that all benefits offerings are compliant with local regulations and company policies.
- Employee Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries. Provide clear, accurate information about benefits programs, eligibility, enrollment processes, and changes.
- Enrollment and Offboarding: Coordinate the enrollment process for new hires and assist with benefits-related activities during offboarding. Ensure that all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Data Management: Maintain and update employee benefits records in the HR information system. Prepare and analyze benefits reports to assess usage, costs, and employee satisfaction.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with benefits providers and vendors to ensure services are delivered effectively. Evaluate vendor performance and assist in the selection of new vendors as needed.
- Compliance and Policy Updates: Stay informed of changes in local labor laws and benefits regulations. Ensure that all benefits programs comply with legal requirements and company policies. Assist in the development and communication of benefits policies.
- Employee Education and Workshops: Organize and conduct benefits orientation sessions and workshops to educate employees about their options and the value of their benefits package.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the HR team to identify opportunities for enhancing the benefits program and improving employee engagement. Solicit feedback from employees to drive improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in benefits administration, preferably within the Aerospace and Defense industry or a similar sector.
- Strong understanding of employee benefits programs, policies, and applicable regulations in the UAE.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Proficient in HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
