Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Budget Coordinator to join our dynamic financial services team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the budgeting process, ensuring financial compliance, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making. This position requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail, who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Budget Preparation and Monitoring:
- Collaborate with department heads to prepare annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Monitor budget performance, analyzing variances and providing timely reports to management.
- Assist in the development of budget forecasts and financial modeling scenarios.

2. Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and trends.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards for tracking budget performance.

3. Compliance and Auditing:
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Implement best practices in budgeting and financial reporting processes.

4. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as a point of contact for budget-related inquiries from various departments.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on budget management and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure proper allocation of resources.

5. Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the budgeting and reporting framework.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of budgeting software and tools.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in budgeting practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in budgeting, financial analysis, or a related role, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and budgeting software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards in the UAE.
