Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Catering Operations Program Manager to join our team in Al Ain. This role is crucial in overseeing the planning, execution, and management of catering operations within the retail space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in catering management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team in delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Development and Management:
- Develop and implement catering programs that align with the company’s goals and customer needs.
- Oversee the planning and execution of catering events, ensuring all client requirements are met.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote catering services and increase business opportunities.
2. Team Leadership:
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of catering staff to ensure high standards of service and operational excellence.
- Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional development among team members.
3. Client Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their catering needs and preferences.
- Address client inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
4. Operational Oversight:
- Manage all aspects of catering operations, including logistics, food preparation, service delivery, and post-event evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
5. Budget Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for catering programs, ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining quality standards.
- Analyze financial performance and implement strategies for cost control and revenue enhancement.
6. Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
- Oversee inventory management for catering supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and negotiate favorable terms.
7. Performance Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze the performance of catering operations, using data to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on catering activities, client feedback, and financial performance for senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in catering operations management or a similar role, preferably in the retail sector.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and development.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and catering management software.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and catering best practices.
