Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Catering Operations Program Manager to lead and enhance our catering operations within the Information Technology sector. This role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and management of catering programs tailored to corporate events, meetings, and workshops. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development: Design, implement, and refine catering programs that align with organizational goals and meet the diverse needs of our clients within the IT sector.
- Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of catering operations, including menu planning, procurement, logistics, and staffing, to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their requirements, providing recommendations, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction throughout the catering experience.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for catering programs, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of catering staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Vendor Coordination: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of food, beverages, and equipment.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and evaluate the performance of catering operations through metrics and feedback, implementing improvements as needed.
- Event Coordination: Collaborate with event planners and other departments to coordinate catering services for various events, ensuring all logistics are executed flawlessly.
- Innovation and Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in catering and hospitality, incorporating innovative ideas into service offerings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in catering operations, event management, or related roles, preferably within the Information Technology sector.
- Proven experience in managing catering programs and leading teams.
- Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, menu development, and event logistics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and catering management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
