We are seeking a skilled Deck Officer to join our healthcare facility in Dubai. The Deck Officer will be responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of the deck department on board our healthcare vessel.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the deck crew in their daily duties, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- Maintain and update navigational charts and publications
- Assist in the planning and execution of ship maneuvers, including docking and undocking
- Conduct regular safety drills and training for the deck crew
- Monitor weather conditions and communicate with the Captain regarding any potential hazards
- Inspect and maintain deck equipment, ensuring all safety and operational standards are met
- Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Transportation or related field
- Valid Deck Officer certification
- Minimum of 3-8 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of navigational systems and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions under pressure
- Proficiency in English, Arabic language skills are a plus
