We are seeking a talented and experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Dubai, UAE. As a Desktop Support Engineer in the retail industry, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end users in a retail environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of desktop computers, printers, and other peripherals used by our staff.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop hardware and software
- Provide technical support and assistance to end users in person, over the phone, and via email
- Set up and maintain user accounts and profiles
- Manage and monitor IT assets and inventory
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve technical issues and ensure optimal performance
- Assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and best practices in desktop support
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- [Random number] years of experience in desktop support or a related field
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop applications
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced retail environment
