Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and solutions to our internal users. This role requires a proactive and customer-oriented mindset, technical expertise in desktop environments, and the ability to troubleshoot a variety of hardware and software issues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network-related issues for all end-users.
- Respond to support requests via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers, printers, and other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues related to operating systems (Windows and macOS) and various applications.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of user accounts and permissions in Active Directory.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Create and maintain documentation for procedures, solutions, and knowledge base articles.
- Conduct user training for new software applications and systems as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to continually improve support services.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- 3 to 5 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common software applications.
- Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting and repair for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Experience with Active Directory and user account management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are a plus.
