Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Emergency Medical Dispatcher to join our dynamic team in Dubai's manufacturing sector. As a key member of our emergency response team, the Emergency Medical Dispatcher will play a crucial role in coordinating emergency medical services, ensuring prompt and effective response to medical emergencies within our manufacturing facilities and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

- Emergency Response Coordination: Receive and prioritize incoming emergency calls from employees and stakeholders, assessing the nature and urgency of medical situations and dispatching appropriate emergency medical services.

- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with medical personnel, onsite first responders, and other relevant stakeholders throughout the emergency response process.

- Record Keeping: Accurately document all emergency calls, actions taken, and outcomes in compliance with company protocols and regulatory requirements.

- System Monitoring: Utilize advanced dispatching software and communication systems to monitor the status of emergency vehicles and teams, ensuring efficient routing and response times.

- Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff on emergency procedures and protocols, ensuring all employees are aware of how to respond in case of medical emergencies.

- Collaboration: Work closely with the safety and health teams to develop and implement emergency response plans tailored to the manufacturing environment.

- Post-Incident Follow-Up: Participate in post-incident analysis and debriefings, contributing insights to improve future emergency response strategies and procedures.

- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards related to emergency medical services.

Qualifications:

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in emergency medical dispatch or related field is preferred.

- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency medical dispatch or a related role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

- Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities under pressure.
- Proficient in using dispatching software and communication tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid certification; Emergency Medical Dispatcher certification is a plus.

Working Conditions:

- This position requires working in a control room or office environment, with the potential for extended hours during peak emergency times.
- The role may involve responding to emergencies in a fast-paced and high-pressure setting, requiring the ability to maintain composure and effectiveness.
