Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medical Dispatcher to join our team in Dubai, specializing in the agricultural sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to manage emergency situations effectively and efficiently, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals in agricultural settings. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to think critically under pressure, and a passion for helping others.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive and assess emergency calls related to medical incidents in agricultural environments, including farms, greenhouses, and rural areas.
- Dispatch emergency medical services (EMS) to the scene of incidents, ensuring timely and appropriate response to medical emergencies.
- Provide pre-arrival instructions to callers, guiding them on how to assist injured or ill individuals until help arrives.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of all calls, including nature of the emergency, location, and response times.
- Collaborate with local health services, agricultural safety organizations, and first responders to enhance emergency response strategies in the agriculture sector.
- Monitor and manage multiple communication channels, including radio and telephone, to ensure seamless coordination of emergency responses.
- Conduct regular training sessions and drills for staff on emergency procedures and best practices in agricultural emergency response.
- Stay updated on local agricultural practices, hazards, and regulations to better understand the context of emergencies in the sector.
- Participate in community outreach programs to educate farmers and agricultural workers on emergency preparedness and response.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in emergency management, first aid, or emergency medical services are preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency dispatch or a related field, preferably in a medical or agricultural context.
- Strong understanding of emergency medical protocols and dispatch procedures.
- Proficient in using dispatch software and communication equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly and effectively.
- Knowledge of agricultural practices, hazards, and potential medical emergencies in the sector is highly desirable.

Working Conditions:

- Work will be conducted in a dispatch center environment, requiring long hours of sitting and using computer systems.
- May require shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays to ensure 24/7 coverage.
- Exposure to agricultural environments may occur during training or field response activities.
