Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee relations within the consumer goods sector. This role requires a proactive individual who can develop and implement strategies to foster a positive work environment, ensure compliance with labor laws, and effectively manage employee grievances and disputes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement employee relations strategies that align with the company’s objectives and values.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, providing guidance and support in resolving workplace issues, conflicts, and grievances.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or misconduct, ensuring a fair and impartial process is followed.
- Collaborate with HR and management teams to develop policies and procedures that promote a positive workplace culture and compliance with labor laws.
- Facilitate training programs for management and employees on conflict resolution, effective communication, and best practices in employee relations.
- Monitor employee engagement levels and assess the effectiveness of employee relations initiatives, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Stay updated on labor laws and regulations in the UAE and ensure the organization adheres to all legal requirements.
- Analyze employee feedback and data to identify trends and develop proactive measures to address potential issues.
- Act as a liaison between employees and management, fostering open communication and trust.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on employee relations matters and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is an advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in employee relations, preferably within the consumer goods industry.
- Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in conflict resolution and mediation, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management systems.
