Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Program Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, focusing on innovative agricultural solutions. This position plays a critical role in managing engineering projects, optimizing operations, and ensuring the successful delivery of programs that enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:
- Lead and oversee engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.

2. Operational Excellence:
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency within engineering teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions into agricultural practices.

3. Team Leadership:
- Manage a team of engineers and technical staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster professional growth.
- Facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.

4. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure project requirements are met.
- Prepare and present reports on project status, risks, and opportunities to senior management and stakeholders.

5. Budget Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for engineering projects, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Monitor expenditures and implement corrective actions when necessary to stay within budget constraints.

6. Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks associated with engineering projects and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards to promote a safe working environment.

7. Innovation and Research:
- Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and trends in agriculture engineering to drive innovation within the organization.
- Collaborate with research and development teams to integrate new technologies into existing processes and systems.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering program management, preferably in the agriculture sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of agricultural technologies, systems, and practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
