Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Field Engineer Assistant to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace and Defense sector based in Dubai. The successful candidate will support our field engineering team in various projects, ensuring the successful installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of aerospace systems and equipment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to innovative solutions that impact the defense and aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist field engineers in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of aerospace and defense systems and equipment on-site.
- Support troubleshooting efforts by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and implementing corrective actions in collaboration with the engineering team.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to field activities, including installation reports, maintenance logs, and technical manuals.
- Conduct inspections and testing of systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge of aerospace and defense technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and quality assurance personnel, to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
- Assist in the management of field inventory and equipment, ensuring all tools and supplies are available for project execution.
- Provide exceptional customer support and communication with clients regarding project status, schedules, and technical issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to aerospace and defense engineering.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 7 years of experience in a related role, preferably within the aerospace and defense industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of aerospace systems, equipment, and defense technologies.
- Familiarity with installation and maintenance procedures, safety standards, and regulatory compliance in the aerospace field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficient in using engineering software and tools relevant to the aerospace industry.
- Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.

Additional Information:

- Candidates should possess a valid UAE driving license.
- Experience with specific aerospace systems or technologies will be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of relevant certifications and standards (e.g., ISO, AS9100) is a plus.
