Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Manager to lead our Transportation and Logistics operations in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing transportation systems, logistics processes, and supply chain management, along with exceptional leadership and strategic planning skills. This role requires a results-oriented individual with a passion for improving operational efficiency and delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the transportation and logistics operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize logistics processes and improve operational performance.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations regarding transportation, safety, and environmental standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports on operational performance to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory authorities, to enhance service delivery and build strong business relationships.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high service levels.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure operational efficiency and profitability.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance service offerings.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff to ensure a high level of competency and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation and logistics management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, operations management, and process improvement.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles, practices, and technologies.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Proficient in logistics and transportation management software and tools.
- Knowledge of local and international transportation regulations and compliance requirements.

Working Conditions:
- This position may require occasional travel within the UAE and internationally.
- The General Manager will work in an office environment with regular interactions with operational sites.
