We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a Hotel Event Manager Assistant in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have experience in the telecommunications industry and a passion for delivering exceptional events and experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Hotel Event Manager in planning and executing events, conferences, and meetings within the hotel
- Coordinate with various departments within the hotel to ensure smooth execution of events
- Manage event logistics, including room setup, audiovisual equipment, and catering
- Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements and ensure they are met
- Assist in creating event proposals, contracts, and budgets
- Provide on-site support during events to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Conduct post-event evaluations to analyze the success of the event and gather feedback for future improvements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or related field
- At least 2-5 years of experience in event planning and management, preferably in the telecommunications industry
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and event management software
- Knowledge of Dubai's event industry and venues is a plus
