Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Security Manager Assistant to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This role is essential in supporting the IT Security Manager in ensuring the protection of our organization’s information systems and data integrity. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and IT security frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the IT Security Manager in developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies, protocols, and procedures to safeguard the organization’s IT assets.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate measures for mitigation.
- Monitor and analyze security incidents, breaches, and anomalies; prepare reports for management and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with IT staff to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures across all departments.
- Support the development and delivery of security awareness training programs for employees to promote a culture of cybersecurity.
- Maintain and update the documentation of security processes, incident reports, and compliance records.
- Assist in the management of security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
- Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices to enhance the organization’s security posture.
- Participate in incident response activities, including investigating security incidents and coordinating recovery efforts.
- Facilitate communication between various departments to ensure alignment on security initiatives and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in IT security, information security analysis, or a related role.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS.
- Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including SIEM, firewalls, and encryption solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively assess risks and identify security solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of local and international data protection regulations and compliance requirements.
