Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Insurance Appraiser to join our team in Sharjah's telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of telecommunications equipment and infrastructure, as well as experience in insurance appraisal processes. The Insurance Appraiser will be responsible for assessing the value of insured telecommunications assets, evaluating claims, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of telecommunications equipment, infrastructure, and installations to determine the appropriate insurance value.
- Review and analyze insurance claims related to telecommunications assets, verifying the validity of claims and ensuring accurate assessment of damages.
- Collaborate with insurance agents, underwriters, and clients to gather necessary documentation and data for appraisal processes.
- Maintain detailed records of appraisals, claims assessments, and communications with clients and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement appraisal methodologies and guidelines specific to the telecommunications industry.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements to ensure accurate appraisals and compliance with relevant policies.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining appraisal findings, including photographs and relevant documentation to support assessments.
- Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings as required, representing the organization in disputes related to insurance claims.
- Train and mentor junior appraisers and staff as needed, sharing knowledge of best practices and industry standards.

Qualifications:

- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in insurance appraisal, with a focus on telecommunications or related fields.
- In-depth knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure, equipment, and technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in appraisal software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in insurance appraisal or related field is preferred (e.g., AIC, Appraisal Institute).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
