We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Journalist Assistant to join our team in Sharjah within the Education sector. The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist journalists in researching, writing, and editing articles related to the Education sector in Sharjah
- Conduct interviews with key stakeholders, educators, and students to gather information for articles
- Attend events, conferences, and meetings to gather news and information for stories
- Assist in fact-checking and proofreading articles before publication
- Manage social media accounts and assist in content creation for online platforms
- Collaborate with the editorial team to brainstorm ideas for new articles and features
- Assist in maintaining relationships with key contacts within the Education sector in Sharjah

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Knowledge of AP style and journalistic ethics
- Experience working in a newsroom or similar environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
