We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Journalist Assistant in the retail industry in Sharjah. The successful candidate will provide support to our team of journalists in researching, writing, and editing articles related to the retail sector.

Responsibilities:
- Assist journalists with researching and gathering information for articles
- Write and edit articles under the guidance of senior journalists
- Conduct interviews with key industry stakeholders
- Assist with fact-checking and proofreading articles before publication
- Monitor industry trends and news to contribute ideas for new content
- Manage social media accounts and engage with followers
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and organizing documents

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Knowledge of AP style and journalistic ethics
- Experience with conducting interviews and research
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and multitask effectively

Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in journalism or a related field
- Experience working in the retail industry
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
