We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Journalist Assistant in our telecommunications company based in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
- Assist journalists in researching, writing, and editing content for print, online, and social media platforms
- Conduct interviews with industry experts, professionals, and customers
- Attend press conferences, events, and meetings to gather information and network with key stakeholders
- Assist in the production of multimedia content, including videos, podcasts, and infographics
- Monitor industry trends, news, and competitor activity to identify potential story opportunities
- Manage and update editorial calendars, deadlines, and assignments
- Collaborate with graphic designers, photographers, and other team members to create engaging content
- Proofread and fact-check articles, press releases, and other written materials before publication
- Assist in managing social media accounts, engaging with followers, and promoting content

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and content management systems
- Familiarity with AP Style and journalistic ethics
- Knowledge of telecommunications industry trends and technology
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in journalism, communications, or a related field (2-5 years preferred)
