Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and personable Medical Office Receptionist to join our dynamic team in Sharjah, specializing in the energy sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, providing exceptional service to patients, and supporting our healthcare professionals. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Front Desk Management:
- Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and handle inquiries efficiently.

- Patient Coordination:
- Verify patient information, including insurance details, medical history, and appointment specifics.
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation.
- Provide clear instructions to patients regarding their appointments and procedures.

- Administrative Support:
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Update and manage the electronic health record (EHR) system with accurate patient data.
- Process payments, including co-pays and billing inquiries, and maintain financial records.

- Office Organization:
- Ensure the waiting area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials.
- Order and maintain office supplies, as well as manage inventory levels for medical supplies.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and communication.

- Communication:
- Serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, assisting with communication as needed.
- Handle correspondence, including emails and faxes, related to patient care and office operations.

- Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the implementation of office protocols and procedures to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical office administration or related field is a plus.
- 1 to 5 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Working Conditions:

- Full-time position with standard office hours; may require occasional overtime.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with high volumes of patient interactions.
