We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Music Librarian to join our team in Dubai. The Music Librarian will be responsible for managing and organizing our music library, which includes a wide range of music tracks and albums related to the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Catalog and organize music tracks and albums in the library database
- Maintain accurate records of all music in the library
- Ensure that music is properly labeled and stored in a systematic manner
- Assist in the acquisition of new music tracks and albums
- Collaborate with other team members to curate playlists for various events and projects
- Stay up-to-date with new music releases and trends in the industry
- Provide recommendations for music selections based on project requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience working in a music library or similar role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of music cataloging systems and databases
- Passion for music and a good understanding of different music genres
- Familiarity with music licensing and copyright laws
