We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Music Librarian to join our team in Dubai. The Music Librarian will be responsible for managing and organizing a collection of music resources related to agriculture. This includes cataloging, classifying, and maintaining a database of music materials, as well as assisting patrons in locating and accessing music resources.
Responsibilities:
- Catalog and classify music materials in accordance with library standards
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date database of music resources
- Assist patrons in locating and accessing music materials
- Develop and curate music collections related to agriculture
- Collaborate with other librarians and staff to provide reference and research services
- Stay current on trends and developments in music libraries and information services
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Music, or related field
- Previous experience working in a library setting, preferably as a Music Librarian
- Familiarity with library cataloging systems and standards
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with music related to agriculture is a plus
This is a full-time position based in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-5 years of experience working in a library setting. If you are passionate about music and agriculture, and have a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply for this position.
