Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Research Manager to join our dynamic team in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will utilize advanced analytical techniques and methodologies to enhance our manufacturing processes, drive efficiency, and support strategic decision-making. This position requires a blend of technical expertise in operations research and practical experience in the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement mathematical models and algorithms to optimize manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in operational performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Utilize simulation, statistical analysis, and optimization techniques to solve operational problems and support decision-making processes.
- Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage and mentor a team of analysts, providing guidance on best practices in operations research methodologies and tools.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in operations research to drive innovation within the organization.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. A Master’s or PhD is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations research, data analysis, or a related field within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB, and experience with optimization software and tools (e.g., CPLEX, Gurobi).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proven track record of driving process improvements.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools is an advantage.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
