Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Packaging Specialist to join our dynamic team in Dubai, within the Energy sector. The Packaging Specialist will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing effective packaging solutions that ensure the safe and efficient transportation of our energy products. This position requires a strong understanding of packaging materials, design, compliance standards, and supply chain logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
- Packaging Design and Development: Create and develop innovative packaging solutions that meet product specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. Ensure that packaging designs are functional, cost-effective, and environmentally sustainable.
- Material Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate packaging materials based on product characteristics, weight, fragility, and environmental impact. Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality materials.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all packaging designs and materials comply with local and international regulations, including safety standards and environmental guidelines. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to assess the performance of packaging solutions during transportation and storage. Conduct tests to evaluate the durability and effectiveness of packaging.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, logistics, and marketing, to align packaging strategies with overall business objectives. Provide input during the product development phase.
- Cost Management: Analyze packaging costs and implement strategies to minimize expenses while maintaining quality and compliance standards. Perform cost-benefit analyses on packaging solutions.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of packaging specifications, testing results, and compliance certifications. Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and management.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in packaging operations, lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, and contribute to sustainability efforts within the organization.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in packaging development, preferably within the energy or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of packaging materials, design principles, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to packaging in the energy sector.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in packaging design software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
