Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plant Operator to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of various machinery and equipment used in our transportation and logistics facilities. This role is critical to ensuring efficient, safe, and reliable operations that meet our high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor plant machinery and equipment, ensuring all systems are functioning optimally.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize processes and workflows, enhancing overall operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels.
- Assist in the training and development of new operators and staff on best practices and safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed; escalate complex issues to the maintenance team.
- Participate in regular safety meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials and products in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding quality control, reporting any discrepancies immediately.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years to 5 years of experience in plant operation, preferably in the transportation and logistics sector.
- Strong understanding of equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to plant operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting purposes.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments, both indoors and outdoors.
