Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic team in Ras Al Khaimah, specializing in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in shaping our product vision and driving the development of innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and development teams. Gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring that stakeholder needs are met effectively.
- Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it reflects the most valuable features and enhancements based on stakeholder feedback and market trends.
- Agile Methodology: Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of product increments.
- User Story Development: Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring that they are well-defined and understood by the development team.
- Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and opportunities for innovation within the construction sector.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product performance and success. Use data-driven insights to inform decisions and product improvements.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges related to product development and implementation. Collaborate with teams to develop mitigation strategies.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams and clients on product features and functionalities, ensuring a smooth adoption process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proven experience in Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
- Strong understanding of product management principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, with experience in analyzing market trends and user feedback.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) and product design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch) is an advantage.
