Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Improvement Manager to join our dynamic team in the energy sector based in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality management systems and processes within our organization, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in quality management and a deep understanding of the energy industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Management System Development: Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) that aligns with the organization’s objectives and meets industry standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in operational processes and develop strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality across all functions within the organization.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize statistical analysis and data-driven methodologies to monitor quality performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on quality standards, practices, and tools. Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. Conduct internal audits and lead external audits to evaluate the effectiveness of the QMS.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and supply chain, to promote quality initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Project Management: Lead quality improvement projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Customer Feedback Management: Monitor and analyze customer feedback and complaints, implementing corrective actions and preventive measures to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Reporting to Senior Management: Prepare and present quality performance reports and improvement plans to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for further enhancement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, process improvement, or a related role within the energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards and methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, Total Quality Management).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including statistical process control and root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the energy sector and experience in conducting audits.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.
