Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team in a dynamic healthcare environment in Dubai. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, implementation, and management of maintenance activities to ensure the continuous operation and safety of all healthcare facilities and equipment. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the healthcare sector to maintain a conducive environment for patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leadership & Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies and policies that align with the organization’s goals and regulatory requirements.

- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance:
- Oversee the planning and execution of preventive maintenance programs for all medical equipment, utilities, and facility infrastructure.
- Manage corrective maintenance activities, ensuring timely resolution of issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.

- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with local and international healthcare regulations, safety standards, and accreditation requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.

- Budget Management:
- Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high standards of service.
- Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

- Project Management:
- Lead maintenance-related projects, including equipment installations, renovations, and upgrades, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruption to patient care.

- Vendor Management:
- Establish and maintain relationships with external contractors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality service delivery.
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements.

- Emergency Preparedness:
- Develop and implement emergency response plans related to maintenance issues, ensuring the facility is prepared for any unforeseen events.
- Conduct regular drills and training sessions for maintenance staff on emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards, including safety and quality assurance.
- Proven experience in budget management and project management.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Desired Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and medical equipment maintenance.
