Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior UX Designer to join our dynamic team in Sharjah, specializing in the transportation and logistics industry. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing user experience across our digital platforms, ensuring that our services are intuitive, efficient, and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities:

- User Research: Conduct comprehensive user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights about user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Analyze data to inform design decisions.

- UX Strategy: Develop and implement UX strategies that align with business goals and user requirements. Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.

- Wireframing & Prototyping: Create low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes using industry-standard design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD). These prototypes will be used for stakeholder presentations and user testing.

- Interaction Design: Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless user journey across all touchpoints.

- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and to advocate for best practices in usability and accessibility.

- Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to evaluate design solutions. Analyze findings and iterate on designs based on user feedback.

- Design Systems: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system to ensure consistency across all products and platforms.

- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and interns, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning within the design team.

- Stay Current: Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX design and the transportation and logistics sector.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in UX design, preferably within the transportation and logistics industry.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your design process, including examples of user research, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Experience with responsive design and mobile app design is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS and front-end development is advantageous but not mandatory.
